Puppy Training of Border Collie

Border Collies are hyperactive and energetic dog and this fact is relevant about their puppies. The puppies of Border Collies are intelligent but always wants the attention from their master hence the lack of attention and lack of tasking make them destructive and apparently unruly. And while raining the puppies it is to remember that as early the training will be started the dog will be trained accordingly.

The first and essential practice for training is to start conversing with the puppy to make it familiar with the up and downs of the voice of the master and accordingly the up and downs of the mood of the master. If the master wishes to command some instruction to the dog he/she should use low but firm voice and it should in an imperative tone.

If the master wish to attract the attention of the puppies to him/her , he/she needs to whisper the name of the puppy in a low but audible voice and thus this modulation of the voice will teach the puppy to realize that by this way the master is asking his attention and gradually he will become more responsive and later on in the midst of crowd also the master will be able to control his/her per according to his /her wish.

The puppy needs to be toilet trained and for this training the trainer need to impose a self discipline on him about the time interval in which he needs to take the puppy outside or in the bathroom so that he can do potty there. The little puppies hardly have any control over their bladder so it is required to take them near bathroom or the particular place for potty and gradually they will learn to control their bladder. When they will do the potty in proper place the trainer needs to potty and praise them to encourage.

But, there is a reverse side of the training program that everything may not be that smooth as planning. Sometime the pet may act as nonresponsive to command. Always in that case the trainer needs to overlook the pet slight and when he will show response needs to cuddle him. It is to remember that never scold the pet that makes it dull and nonresponsive but gradually after responding, cuddling will teach him the way to get the attention from the master and he will learn to be command savvy and obedient.
